LibreCalc displaying cell formula instead of result

Case: LibreCalc (any OS) displaying formulas instead of their output, without any prior changes to settings and for any document.

Solution

1. Close any open documents
2. Create a new document (spreadsheet)
3. Navigate to Tools -> Options -> LibreOffice Calc -> View
4. Uncheck Formulas under Display and save settings
5. Close the document
6. Open your last document, should be fixed.
